Kathi Roll or Kati Roll is my favorite roll.I have always had rolls in restaurants and small food joints, and they taste yummy. I thought of making this roll for my daughter who is a fussy eater and would take hours to-gether to eat just one chapathi. She always asks for jam for chapathis(not just chapathis, for dosa, idlis, and everything,..) I wanted to make eating chapathi(or roti) fun for my daughter and also include veggies in it so she would eat it. Rolls are best ideas to make kids eat veggies rolled inside chappathis. So I made these potato kati rolls and included some little tomato sauce and cheese to make it interesting and yummy for kids. These Kathi Rolls are not just for kids, I had about 3 of these yummy rolls along with my daughter and my hubby LOVED these rolls. :)

SO here’s step wise recipe for potato kathi rolls

To make the roll-
Take the rotis, smear green chutney at the bottom of the chapathis as shown. Place 1 tbspn of potato filling on top of the chutney, drizzle some tomato sauce, add few pieces of chopped onions and finally sprinkle some grated cheese. (For some extra bit of nutritional value, I added a piece of raw carrot inside the roll. You can grate the carrot and add it too, if kids find it hard to bite them)
Roll it as shown in picture. Now place the roll carefully on the tawa and toast it on all sides for 1-2 mins.
Repeate with rest of the chapathis.
