Yesterday I showed you how to make home ricotta cheese. Not just it’s easy to make at home, it is also the best ricotta you would have ever had. It’s fresh and delicious!

Today we will see one of ways of using Ricotta. The most common use of Ricotta is in a crostini.

Just toast the bread and spread some ricotta on top. Then top it with almost anything that would like. Roasted or grilled tomatoes, avocados, cucumber, soft boiled eggs, salmon, any thing…

I went for simple topping, roasted tomatoes, and cucumber.

Here’s my ricotta crostini recipe-

Ingredients:-

Ricotta cheese – 1 cup
Bread

For roasted tomato topping-
Cherry tomatoes
Olive oil
Salt
Thyme

For simple cucumber toppin-
Cucumber
Chives

Instructions:-

1. Roast bread on both sides. Apply spoon ful of ricotta on top.

2. Roast cherry tomatoes with olive oil and salt. Top it over bread. For cucumber topping, slice cucumber thin and top it over the crostini.

3. Add any topping of your choice.

A perfect party appetizer. Serve them warm or as it is with any topping of your choice!
